Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Manhwawi AI, which operates Manhwawi ("we"). By installing the Manhwawi extension or creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Manhwawi is a browser extension that plays narration we prepare for supported webcomic chapters and scrolls the page in time with it. It works only on the series listed as Supported Series in the extension. The list of supported sites and series is managed from our servers, so we can add or remove series and change features without an extension update.
Manhwawi is not affiliated with the websites the chapters appear on. We don't host or sell the comics.
2. Accounts
You need an account (email, Google or Discord). Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you're under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid plan. One person per account; don't share or resell accounts.
3. Plans and payment
- Free: a monthly chapter allowance with an ad before each chapter.
- Premium (Monthly or Yearly): no ads and a higher allowance. Daily and period limits are shown in the extension.
- Refill packs add chapters when a subscriber reaches their limit.
- Gift Premium is a one-time code that gives its recipient Premium for the stated period. It doesn't renew.
Current prices in US dollars (any sales tax or VAT is shown at checkout):
- Premium Monthly: $3.99 a month.
- Premium Yearly: $24.99 for the first year, then $34.99 a year.
- Refill packs: $3.50 (Monthly plan) and $29.99 (Yearly plan).
- Gift Premium: $3.99 for 1 month, $34.99 for 1 year.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Prices may change; a change applies from your next renewal and we'll tell you before it does. Purchases are final except as described in our refund policy: https://manhwawi.com/refunds/.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- copy, download, extract or redistribute the narration audio or chapter data;
- scrape, automate or overload the service, or get around limits, ads or access controls;
- reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. For a paid account we will tell you why.
5. Our content
The narration, voices, timing data, software and the Manhwawi name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them through the extension while your account is active.
6. Ads and third parties
Free chapters show ads from Adsterra inside Manhwawi's player. Sign-in, hosting, payments and ads are provided by third parties (Supabase, Google, Discord, Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy, Adsterra) under their own terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Manhwawi available but don't promise it will always work or be error-free. We may change or end the service. If we end a paid service, we refund the unused part of prepaid periods.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
9. Ending
You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancel your subscription first so it doesn't renew.
10. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes here and, for material ones, tell you in the extension before they apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Consumers keep the protections of the law where they live.
